For just £75 a year for a child in Nursery or Lower Basic School and £100 a year for a child in Upper Basic School, you can make a priceless opportunity available to a child who otherwise would not be able to go to school.
Your donation pays school fees for one year, buys two school uniforms, school shoes, a school bag and school supplies for one year.
That is only £6.25 or £8.33 a MONTH – less than a take away coffee and a sandwich snack.
In return, you will receive a copy of the child’s enrolment form, a photo of your sponsored child and at least one school report a year. Occasionally a child who has learned to read and write will send short ‘thank you’ message or drawing to their sponsor. Additional updates are occasionally available via our Gambian based Sponsorship Manager, Fatoumata Jallow, via WhatsApp. Sponsors are also warmly invited to accompany Diane and other Steering Group members in visiting their sponsored child at home and at school, whenever our UK and European team travel to the Gambia.
