Diane will be going on a sponsored walk throughout December to raise awareness and money for the school. She will also be blogging throughout. She had this to say:
Dear friends, next week I am going to start my attempt to walk the whole way around London, following the 78 mile Capital Ring walk. I am doing this as my Christmas project, in order to raise funds for Ceesay’s Nursery School.
The walk is divided into 15 parts, so I will be doing it in about 15 days, in good weather (not all at once!). If anyone would like to join me for any of the walks (average 2-3 hours long), I would love your company. A great way to get healthy, see parts of London we may not know and help some of the poorest orphaned children in the Gambia be able to attend school.
I will be posting a short blog and some photos from each part of the walk – check back here to see my progress.
