While in the Gambia, I was able to deliver a one-day teacher training workshop to three teachers from Ceesay School, along with the headteachers and staff from two other nursery schools.
We worked with Lamin Touray, an adult education tutor from Gunjur Women’s Gardening Project, who very kindly let us use his classroom and the garden as a teaching resource. Thanks to the women for a fantastic benechin lunch! A great day all round.
